Travel

We want to make your travel experience to Chapel Hill a pleasant one. 

How to Get to Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is 30 minutes east of downtown Chapel Hill. RDU offers passengers a variety of transportation options ranging from taxi and limousine service to rental cars and shuttle buses. RDU also offers connections to local bus and train stations.

Air Travel
For air travel assistance, please contact the ANCA Travel Department at (617) 559-3773; (877) 559-3773 (if calling outside of Massachusetts); or click here to send an E-mail.  American Airlines offers a daily non-stop flight from Heathrow (LHR) to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). 

UNC student volunteers will be greeting travelers in the baggage claim section of RDU.  They can assist you with your luggage and provide directions and transportation options to get to The Carolina Inn or the Franklin Hotel.  Once your travel plans are known, please forward your itinerary to us so that we can ensure volunteers will be available to meet and greet your flight.

Airport Shuttle
Shuttle service is available through Brad's Transportation for $60 round trip.   Advance reservations are required.  Passengers may call Brad's Transportation, toll free at (800) 467-3302 or (919) 493-8180.  Please mention that you are attending the ANCA workshop to receive the discounted rate.
